 Public
parking will be very limited in Washington D.C. and you are advised to
take the Metro into
the city. Gates to the inauguration open at 9 a.m. and music begins
at 10 a.m. Each person attending will need a ticket to enter, and
each ticket contains information on which gate you should use to enter the
ceremony grounds. Reserved seating is unavailable. Tickets are
color coded and correspond to different seating areas. To see a

Food will be unavailable on the ceremony
grounds, and visitors are not allowed to bring food larger than a snack to
the ceremony. Cameras and cell phones (should be placed on
silent/vibrate mode) are permitted on the Capitol Grounds, but camera bags
and tripods are not allowed. For a more complete list of prohibited

click here. Although there is no
dress code for attendance at the inauguration, the Swearing-In Ceremony
(around noon) is outdoors preparation for cold weather should be made.
