Illinois State Society Inaugural Gala
The Illinois Inaugural Gala is sponsored by the Illinois State Society of Washington, D.C. This event includes live entertainment throughout the evening, as well as buffet stations, hor d’oeuvres, and open bars. In 2009, 7000 guests attended the Illinois ball for the first inauguration of President Obama.
