on 2008-11-06 14:06:11 I am a proud mother of three, and the proud wife of a U.S. Marine. My husband and I met in 10th grade and have been married for 20 years. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1988 right after we graduated from high school. Our family has lived an adventurous and sometimes trying lifestyle, but we wouldn't change a thing.
This year 3 of us voted in our household; my husband, myself and for the first time our 19 year old daughter. She felt that overwhelming since of pride that you get when you know your vote made a difference. We humbly request to be considered for 2 tickets to the 2009 Commander-in-Chief Inaugural ball of President Elect Barack Obama in Washington, DC. My husband has served for 20 years and has been deployed to three campaigns and we have proudly sacrificed over the years and have never asked for anything in return. But, for this momentous occasion, we would like to ask. We are proud Americans and want to show our patriotism with so many other that will be attending next year.
