The "Dreams from My Father" American Scholars Inaugural Ball has become one of the nation's most talked about and highly anticipated inaugural balls. The National Intellectual Property Law Institute, The Hip Hop Caucus, The Source Magazine, Dave & Ray Entertainment, and Volkswagen Group of America have come together to produce this landmark event honoring some of the nation's most prestigious scholars to mark the swearing-in of scholar-President Barack Obama. This intergenerational celebration will take place at Washington,D.C.'s only Five Diamond hotel, the Four Seasons in Georgetown. The evening will be festive and enjoyed by acclaimed academics, elected officials, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and other guests alike.
Hosted by celebrity radio talk show host Russ Parr, TV political analyst and Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons, and Congressman Gregory Meeks (D-NY), just to name a few, this event will be an ideal occasion in the Nation's Capitol to enjoy the company of luminaries across every field. Join us along with celebrity performers and presenters like R&B sensation Raheem DeVaughn, chart-topping vocalist from Floetry, Marsha Ambrosius, author Omar Tyree, actress Tatiana Ali, and comedian Joe Torry for the history lesson of a lifetime!
Guests will mingle freely, while enjoying a delectable high-end cocktail reception prepared by The Four Seasons' experienced catering staff and complimentary tended bar service. Live musical performances and various VIP amenities will entertain guests throughout this elegant evening of food, drink, dancing and dialogue.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at a price of $350 and $550. The event will take place on the mezzanine and lower levels of the Four Seasons.
