Jamaican Inaugural Ball

The Jamaican Inaugural Ball is a Jamaican-style celebration of the U.S. Presidential Inauguration and the international bonds shared between between the U.S. and Jamaica. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served, along with Jamaican Red Stripe beer, non-alcoholic Ting and Kola Champagne, and other offerings. Live entertainment will be provided by Donovan Marks and the Rainforest Band, Michael “Silky” Schloss, and more. This event will be hosted by the David Hunt Committee members in Washington, D.C.

Grassroots Inaugural Gala

All are invited to the Grassroots Inaugural Gala at the State Theatre in Falls Church on Saturday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event, which includes a live band, hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar, are available for $50 on the State Theatre website (see below) or at the box office. Everyone is asked to bring a bag or two of canned food for the Arlington Food Assistance Center. This event is associated with the National Inaugural Day of Service, and all proceeds over costs will be donated to the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
